Overview Energy Profiled in Washington Post

Overview Energy is featured in The Washington Post. Energy reporter Evan Halper spent a day at Overview’s Ashburn HQ asking a serious question—can energy from space become a meaningful part of the world’s power supply?—The piece takes that question seriously, including the hard parts. As demand for power accelerates, Overview is building the system to prove the answer is yes.

To establish Overview as pioneers in space-based solar generation, Landscape partnered with their team to create a brand identity that frames continuous, directable energy as the answer to solar intermittency. The visual system—featuring a distinctive palette and custom animations—traces light’s journey from orbital arrays to Earth’s energy grids, while strategic positioning resonates with utility operators, data center developers, policymakers, and investors.

Modal has raised a $750M at a $15.75B valuation

Modal has raised a $750M Series D at a $15.75B valuation, led by Accel, and crossed $1B in annualized run-rate revenue. Usage has tripled since its Series C just five months ago, with growth north of 15x year-over-year.

Following their partnership with Landscape, Modal has continued to scale rapidly, cementing its place at the front of serverless infrastructure. To win enterprise adoption, Modal needed an identity and site that matched the quality and ambition of the product. Together we built one: flexible, scalable, fast.

Xenopsia

Somewhere in rotation, an opening.

One approaches it with the usual equipment: mass, memory, a nervous system, the conviction that these belong to a person. On the wall, a photograph. Another arrangement of the same materials, with certain permissions withdrawn. Consider the physical world as something to which we have never had unmediated access. Matter persists in excess of its appearances. Each person edits an inhabitable reality from this excess, furnishing it with distances, threats, invitations, appetites, theories of possibility. The environment acquires intentions it does not possess. We live and play inside these interpretations with the foolish confidence of people who have mistaken an atmosphere for an address.

DOG is pleased to present [E26] Xenopsia, an exhibition of large-scale photographs exploring a state in which the physical, perceived, and anticipated briefly coincide, and the body becomes the strangest instrument you own.

Featuring:

Diego Bendezu, João Canziani, Frankie Carino, Brendan Davis, Daniel Dorsa, Kyle Emery-Peck, Jake Forsythe, Mark Mahaney, Boe Marion, Theo McInnes, Teo Giovanni Poggi, Colin Sussingham, Brad Torchia, Alex F Webb

Opening: Friday October 23rd, from 6-9pm

Location: 428 Waller Street, San Francisco, CA
