WRKSHP’s focus on the mobile platform has led to the development of over 55 Top 25 applications in the App Store, and to the world’s largest mobile MMO, Battle Camp, which has over 30 million downloads. WRKSHP’s latest mobile game, Beat Fever (designed and branded in collaboration with Landscape), exceeded 5 million downloads within 1 month of its release.

Oakland International Design Externship

Landscape continues to host teachers from Oakland International High School, a public school for immigrant and refugee students, during their summer externships.

Mallory Moser teaches Graphic Design and Aly Kronick teaches Academic Literacy and Survival English. Mallory and Aly have been working with our designers to create interdisciplinary curriculum that include design thinking and professional tools in their classrooms.

These externships have lead to the creation of educational units that tackle challenging topics surrounding biases and disability rights through the use of modeling, 3D printing, and illustration.

Hopelab Technology Report

Hopelab's 2018 report presents the first set of descriptive findings from a nationally representative, probability-based survey of more than 1,300 U.S. teens and young adults, ages 14 to 22, conducted in February and March 2018. This initial report focuses on two main topics: first, young people’s self-described use of online health information and digital health tools, and second, the associations between self-reported social media use and mental well-being among teens and young adults (TYAs). Landscape worked closely with Hopelab to design the 120+ page printed report and digital reading experience.
