“We’ll know we’ve succeeded when we’ve ended the mental health crisis, and psychedelic medicines are routine, first-line tools for preventing mental illness and improving wellbeing. At Mindbloom, we remain steadfast optimists in our mission to transform lives to transform the world.”

Client Feature
Mental health can make a positive difference in every part of life—when our mind is at ease, we’re free to live in the moment. But, without the right tools, a healthy state of mind can feel far out of reach.
Mindbloom is leading the next generation of mental health care with ketamine therapy. Centered in science, Mindbloom’s program not only treats the symptoms of pain, but stops it at the source.

How does Mindbloom navigate legal and regulatory challenges associated with offering psychedelic therapies?
Psychedelic medicines are the best tools we have to end the mental health crisis. Decades of research have shown that ketamine therapy and other psychedelics are incredibly effective, safe, and fast-acting treatments for a range of issues – the problem is that they haven’t been available for people in need.
Mindbloom is working to make psychedelic medicines more accessible, affordable, and approachable. We started with ketamine therapy because it’s the only psychedelic medicine that’s legal to prescribe at the federal level and in all 50 states. We’ve radically increased access offering this treatment through telehealth: today, Mindbloom is available in 38 states covering 86% of the U.S. population, at a fraction of the cost of in-person care.
But building a national psychedelic therapy provider doesn’t happen overnight. Mindbloom has worked with Congress to preserve and expand access to care, and published the two largest studies in the history of ketamine therapy1, 2 to show regulators, providers, and people in need how effective and safe this treatment is. We’ve invested heavily in legal and medical oversight to ensure that everything we do complies with state and federal rules, and that we provide the highest quality care to our clients.

How are therapists selected and trained to conduct psychedelic therapy sessions?
Remarkable results require remarkable care. We offer guided ketamine therapy programs, with clinicians and guides who support clients through every step of their treatment.
Clinicians work with clients to develop treatment plans that meet their needs. Our clinicians are psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with extensive experience providing ketamine therapy. Each clinician receives extensive training on our clinical protocols and the finer points of psychedelic therapy, developed by our world-class Medical Advisory Board.
Guides are like coaches – they help clients prepare for treatment and integrate their experiences, so that they can turn the insights from sessions into lasting improvement and change. They also lead group integration circles, where clients can share their experiences with others going through treatments. Like clinicians, our guides receive extensive training on our protocols, and it’s not an easy job to get: our application acceptance rate is lower than Harvard’s!

How does the company support individuals beyond therapy sessions, ensuring ongoing mental wellness?
Mindbloom is more than just medicine: our ketamine therapy programs combine medicine with coaching, therapeutic content, and community to provide transformational outcomes for our clients. Clients choose us because we strike the right balance of structure and guidance, and because of the credibility and expertise we’ve earned from facilitating more than 500,000 ketamine therapy sessions.
Our new client program includes six ketamine treatments, and also much more: two consultations with your clinician, three sessions with your guide, unlimited messaging with your guide, unlimited integration circles, a 24/7 live support team, and an online community of thousands of clients sharing their experiences and supporting one another.
There’s an alchemy that happens when you combine these elements—clients see greater benefits from treatment, and those benefits last longer.
What are Mindbloom's plans for expanding its services or making psychedelic therapy more accessible to a broader audience?
Mindbloom’s vision is to make psychedelic medicine the #1 solution for mental health and wellness. With hundreds of thousands of ketamine therapy sessions under our belts, we’re the largest provider of psychedelic therapy in the world, and we can’t wait to increase access to the next generation of psychedelic medicines to be approved by the FDA.
In the meantime, we’re making ketamine therapy more accessible by offering treatment in more states, expanding the list of conditions we treat, building new programs to help clients solve their unique challenges, and publishing research to show how this treatment can help people in need.

Are there any long-term goals or milestones that Mindbloom is working towards in the field of psychedelic therapy?
We want to see psychedelic medicine become the #1 treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health issues.
We’ve recently achieved two major milestones by reaching 500,000 treatments and publishing the largest study in the history of psychedelic medicine, but there’s still a long way to go before we overcome the stigma surrounding psychedelics. We’ll know we’ve succeeded when we’ve ended the mental health crisis, and psychedelic medicines are routine, first-line tools for preventing mental illness and improving wellbeing. At Mindbloom, we remain steadfast optimists in our mission to transform lives to transform the world.
