Hiring : Design Apprenticeship
We’re looking for an exceptional Design Apprentice to join our team.
Work on meaningful, brand-led projects across a range of sectors.
Landscape is an integrated creative studio providing brand strategy, design systems, and campaign production to clients pursuing intentional, sustainable, and influential change across a range of sectors—science, technology, social, environmental, arts, and culture.
From carbon-negative synthetic biology and sustainable home furnishings, to the future of fashion design, and circularity — our diverse team works closely with inspiring clients every day.
↳ Who are you?
› A highly adaptable, entry-level designer
› Pursuing exceptional craft across a range of media types.
› Eager to learn and eager to experiment with new tools (such as AI or other technology)
› Are able to self-direct in the absence of more senior team members’ guidance.
› Your peers respect you; your team thrives on your consistent honesty, positivity, and insight.
› You are friendly, hardworking, and believe in doing great work for good people.
↳ Key Responsibilities
› Under the supervision of a Creative Director, create design across brand systems, websites, apps, print, packaging, environmental, and motion.
› Work collaboratively with other members of a project team: Creative Directors and Designers, Strategists, Copywriters, Animators, Developers, etc.
› Contribute to every phase of a project, from strategy to ideation to execution.
› Think strategically and conceptually about how to translate client business goals into meaningful design execution.
› Clearly articulate your ideas to internal teams during design reviews.
› Demonstrate readiness to assist and contribute across diverse tasks as required throughout the design and execution process.
› Support Landscape’s internal marketing efforts, including designing case studies, newsletters, social content, and DOG event assets.

Qualifications:
› Contemporary identity work in your portfolio
› Exceptional level of graphic-image-making skill.
› Interest in interaction design
› Motion & 3D skills a plus
› Must be able to work in PST time zone +/- 1hr.
› Portfolio required (Include PDF or link)

Compensation:
› Salary: $45,000
› 401K plan
